Few questions about tuning

im about to get my car back!! i brought a fully forged car one year ago noticed an oil leak took it to the mechanics turned out to be build with many mistakes!! so its been totally stripped down and rebuilt to the same specs but obviously done right!!

so with things going back in fixed but the same whats the odds on me needing a new tune?? i had the heads completly rebuilt..

but its got me thinking if iv had my car tuned while its f**kd surly itws going to throw it off!!

ok next question while it was in getting fixed i purchased a genuine hks ssqv but with all these new laws coming up im wonder if putting my 50/50 bov back on when getting it tuned does it make much of a diffrence in the tune? plumbed back or atmospharic

ok a totally diffrent note where does one buy top gun 8mm leads?

the tune should be redone.

do your homework get a good tuner.

you can get eagle 8mm from ripco around $180, unless someone can get them cheaper

I wouldn't worry about it for a long time.

In terms of making a difference to the tune, it shouldn't unless your still using the AFM.

Talk to your tuner.

i would say if the tune was done for a dud of an engine.

you will be driving the same dud

all engines are different and require different tunes

the motor never blew it was still running well when i took it into get the motor pulled!!

the afm is still in there basicly mechanic is telling me do the run in on my low boost settings then once the cars run in take it for a new full scale power tune
