fitting boost guage

I tried fitting a boost guage to my rex today.i was going to copy my mate with a 96 sti but myns a bit diffrent under the hood, i connected it to what i thort was the right hose but all it made the needle do was jump rapidly up and down not smooth like it should be and didnt read any vacume at idle jus stayed at 0. is ther a diffrent place to hook it up to in a 03 wrx??

Mine is here, interestingly enough this is where Subaru/STI have it as well in the "how to" of the service/install manual for Defi/Genome & Lamco gauges....

What about the hose that goes from the fuel pressure regulator to the manifold?

im the mates car laazy8 tried to copy. will hook it into the bov line tomorrow, yup can say the fuel pressure regulator hose works well as this is where i teed my "gauge" hose for my ebc, was very easy to get at as i have an aftermarket fpr.

was supprised at how many less vacuum hoses the newer models have!!!
