    • Im aiming for a solid 224kw (300whp). THat is my main goal :).
    • So, the vehicle in question is a 1997 WRX STi V-Limited. Its currently undergoing a very deep rebuild! A while ago I remember seeing a picture online or manual download, Haynes manual style (not specifically a Haynes manual!) line drawing of the rear axles of the WRX which showed the markings on the axles. Because one axle had an extra band around it, it indicated which one was for right axle and which was left axle. I know there is talk in the community that theyre interchangeable but I'd prefer to put them back as they should be. I cant find the actual picture online anymore and don't remember exactly where I saw it. Does anyone in the community have it or know which one was which? The axles were labelled initially when i took them off the car but since Ive stripped, cleaned, blasted and primed them I no longer remember which was which. Photo attached of the area of the axles im talking about.  Any help would be appreciated.
    • Well that’s kind of true, but massively underestimated and twisted.   location services is for google and apple to use. Eg find my AirTags etc.   If you call emergency services they can get your GPS location sent from your phone by the operating system. That was the set as the default in NZ many years ago. Fall detection etc uses this system to get help if you don’t cancel it.   Plus if you have Bluetooth on even if not connected either phone or stereo they broadcast their ID. Some shops, busses and signage have for years and years recorded the ID they see and report back the ID and signal strength. They can track your travel through a city, or in-store they watch what isles etc you walk down to see the flow of customers.  signage ones are mostly adverts or those info ones they track the time you spend looking at them to see what ads or specials attack the most attention.   This similarly goes for wifi, your phone sends out requests every minute if not connected to a know network. They cycle through your saved or known lost to see if they are near. This was what the karma wifi attack used. Not to mention that all phone phone networks have your location in real-time and can and do sell or give access to anyone they want. Google also does this for traffic congestion on maps. So tech is already in every pocket to ticket you real-time if you are speeding, only thing stopping it is figuring out who the driver is at the time. if you have a phone or any Bluetooth device you are already tracked by most tech companies.   Let’s not forget the free LoRA messaging devices. If it transmits it is trackable. If you aren’t paying for a product… You are the product. Welcome to the last 20 years of tech companies.   If you want a good conspiracy theory, why did the headphone jack get removed? All phone are thick enough for one… it’s so you are more likely to have Bluetooth on so they can sell data for ads.   PS for reasons, this is all made up and I have no knowledge or involvement.
    • heh : anyone seen the pitchforks & boomers foaming on fb with the petitions? They are convinced we'll all be tagged / cops can now somehow check if you location services are turned ON on your phone with a scanner...
    • We normally run and recommend Linkecu, sadly for the Auto GRB, there is no plug and play option. I had sti auto gearbox making over 300kw with no problems, like others said, you would need an oil cooler for the transmission. For power on a subie, if you want that 280-300kw, the bare minimum that you are going to need is: fuel pump, injectors, turboback, upgrade dropin turbo. That could take you to the low end of that, if you then add turbo inlet and soo on, we have seen 310kw on stock location with decent response.    But like with any other customer, I would always say... lets see what you got and what we can do with the tune, then you will know if you want more, and how much more if any. And enjoy the car
