The shaft is not connected, I can spin one side but other side doesn't move. Video explains the rest lol enjoy

  4. Yeah you can poke a hole in it mate. That shouldn't cause any problems. Sealant is a good idea if you have it but it is certainly not a necessity.

  6. You can upgrade the bushes all round and get a roll center adjustment kit and anti lift kit for the front, but it doesn't sound like you are quite ready for any of that yet. Good coil overs, setup correctly and a good wheel alignment should keep you happy for a while.

  7. Easy as. No need to go through the firewall! There is a grommet behind the passenger inner fender liner which provides direct access in behind the glove box. You just run the power cable up inside the fender and straight up to the battery!

  9. I know I’m grave digging, but a solution for anyone else having this issue: buy some sort of foam tape, just needs to be a few mm thick. Take the door trim off and look for a few spots around the speaker where the rattle might be caused, it will probably be where the speaker grille/surround comes within a few mm of the speaker/door. Put some of the foam tape on these spots. Avoid any of the speaker. Put the panel back and blast your sound, if it’s not fixed try again with another layer of foam tape as it may not be bridging the gap. this should apply to any sound deadening you want to do.

  11. If I put a Garrett on a Subaru I would be pretty disappointed if I didn't end up with around 250kw as well. You see lots of Silvias with that kind of power because it's simple to swap the turbos out on them for proper ones. In the Subaru world 99% of people are fart-arsing about with stock location barbie-doll hairdriers which will maybe get you to 240wkw downhill with a tail wind. Long story short they don't mysteriously make more power than Subarus, for the most part a 2 litre 4-cylinder engine with the same compression ratio doesn't care about the arrangement of the cylinders, it's some pretty basic chemistry that results in power and the Datsuns aren't breaking the laws of thermodynamics any time soon.
