  1. You will wanna look at RMS figures generally and get an amp that has a little higher power than the speakers (called overhead) so for a 400wrms sub maybe an amp that produces 500wrms or more...this gives a cleaner sound as the amp is working at a lower load. Best advice stick to good name brands....Alpine, Panasonic, Pioneer, etc Old fusion amps are good too.....good cheap power.
  2. If your cars an RSB then you wont need the loom cos they are near identical anyway, just the ecu and changing a couple of wires....see Ruebens conversion thread. If its the earlier RS then you may have more issues with the ecu and wiring.
  3. It may not be set correctly when tuned then, I know when I did my flipped manifold the idle went bottom up just like yours so we just adjusted the idle screw till it was fine again. Unfortunately that wasnt all the flipped manifold did....looks like it ruined the whole tune so Im finishing some other stuff and then getting it retuned.
  4. Oh did I mention....its height adjustable too , thats about as low as it goes.
  5. As far as I know the early Links didnt need the factory idle control, while tuning you basically had to set a minimum rev limit (usually like 1000rpm). I idles at that whether the car is hot or cold, my microtech works like that too.
  6. Car: 96 RSB Legacy Suspension: Tein Coilovers Mags: Work Vs wheels diamater: 18" Wheels width: 8 Offset: 34 + a 25mm hub adaptor (so basically 9) Tyres spec: 215/40/18 did you have to roll the gaurds?: NO, I attacked them with an angle grinder and raised them 10cm and prceeded to add 50mm of body kit to each side of the car.
  7. I dont honestly care, I felt like stiring. By the time it is finished I will need to drive it by zimmer frame anyway.
  8. It does barely get over the lip of my garage haha, but i think youd struggle to break it on anything its a pretty tough cookie. Its only gonna be for the track (if it works how its supposed to) and shows.
  9. A few from the files of my phat aRSe. Looks like it will be going a particularly nice mazda red or Altezza graphite......till I change my mind for the 10th, maybe 11th time.
  10. Just remove everything you can, battery, washer bottle, anything in the way. You sometimes have to twist them a bit to get them out. The drivers side is the worst of the 2 in my eyes.
  11. Now that leaves me in a conundrum, mine IS on the net.
