  1. Yep I remember this location from a wee while back
  2. How many decks of cards? Nice idea Paint finish looks good too. Not a fan of how it looks now, but that\'s just me; if you like it then that\'s what matters! Perhaps some tire shine will help too.
  3. I happen to be going here today, but during the day so not fancying my chances of getting a spot there too much. We\'ll see how it goes.
  4. Fish & chips then ice cream is a great pastime there! Might try get it in the next few days if I can be arsed, and noone else can be any time soon
  5. As above, it\'s normal for cars to read about 10k faster than actual around the 100km/h mark. I wouldn\'t worry about it, it\'s a good measure to make you less likely to speed. Unless of course you compensate for that fact and drive closer to the limit
  6. To have my car off the road for at least 2 years while I go overseas, would I be right in thinking I\'m best to just apply for an exemption from licensing each year I\'m away? As opposed to cancelling and therefore having to re-register when I return.
  7. Still on pink springs Invisible? My rear doesn\'t sit that low with my pinks eh
  8. Can\'t say enough how refreshing it is to see a front mount barely visible, and not looking all whory and on show for the whole world to see!
  9. I don\'t see anywhere that says that\'s a production box. I had assumed they went dogbox in the factory housing, but don\'t know for sure. As it\'s older than 20 years would be eligible to bring in just like an R32 GTR etc is. Pretty depressing reading looking at the results section of that page! Pretty much a list of DNF\'s, rather than results! Unless the rules have changed in the last year it has to meet more criteria than just being older than 20 years old. Like being a coupe/2 door (I forget), production run less than so much, or being considered a classic/collectible (or something along those lines) by certain automotive publications. Think it needed to meet 3/4 or something like that.
  10. Assuming it\'s no different to the non keyless keys it shouldn\'t be a problem. I got a new key through the east tamaki Sublab. They just took my car details, got the code from Japan then programmed the new key. They charged shitloads to cut it though so maybe go elsewhere for that.
  11. If your in Auckland Nick from Autotints is the go man, hes cheapish and really good Not sure on tints as I\'ve never got any myself, but yeah they should be happy to send you some stickers for free. They did for me, just send then a message asking for a a couple
  12. @Scylar, get some tints and hit up AVS for some black stickers and it\'ll be looking even more sweet!
  13. The point I think Marky\'s making is that regardless how much driving experience you have or how mature, the combination of your age and having a turbo car will all drive your insurance cost up, so will be something to consider. Either way though, all the best for the move and car buying, I hope it all goes well!
  14. Unfortunately it\'d been some time since it happened when it was pointed out to me. Tried warm soapy water with a lot of elbow grease but it\'s till there. Hopefully some car care product out there can do the trick.
  15. Someone got sunblock on the vinyl bits of my interior, what\'s the best way to go about removing it?
  16. I know nothing on this topic, but is it not as simple as using an ecu from a manual version?
  17. Recently did a trip to Napier Hastings. On the drive back to Auckland I got 9.3 L/100km with 5 occupants and everyone\'s luggage. Dash computer read 10.9 km/L which is 9.17 l/100km. This is probably a bit more accurate than comparisons I\'ve done with driving made up mostly of around town driving. And every time the dash meter is overly optimistic.
  18. When I got my pre facelift I preferred it to the facelift. Now I like them both in their own ways. Has to be spec b for either, otherwise just looks very uninspiring. If I was to upgrade I\'d go after the 2.0 facelift with 6speed manual
