  1. Had just ordered a full set of Bilstein B8 + Eibach springs (B12 Pro kit they call it apparently) directly from Germany, will see how that goes. Was a bit of a struggle to find a company that 1) will ship outside EU and 2) will deduct VAT.
  2. Fark no, not the most unique BEE around I definitely feel your pain! Poor Z/S bumper...
  3. From what I remember ready-made Y-piece alone was close to around $60-80 + labour. You better double check before they start butchering
  4. Are we talking about the same thing? There's a cat on each bank of the headers, then another cat where two banks join at Y section ---> mid section with resonator/mid muffler ----> Y section ---> mufflers
  5. Yeah that ^ the airbag light, freaked out when I saw it for the first time
  6. How are you doing the 3rd cat delete? Bash it out and keep stock pipes or proper cut out and replace with a Y-pipe job? Stock mid resonator/muffler does an amazing job on 3.0. Just to give you an idea a 450mm louvre baffled and packed with quality stuff AdrenalinR was nowhere near that, was okish with stock mufflers on. But then what's the point of opening up the front and middle sections if you're going to restrict the flow at the mufflers.
  7. If I remember correctly if you leave your Tactrix plugged in for too long it causes the car to throw a check engine or some other warning light at you, do not remember which one it was but my 3.0 definitely did it, and it was definitely caused by Tactrix - did not register any fault codes though more like a bug. The first time it happened when Kido was tuning my car and we went for a test ride with his Tactrix and laptop hooked up, been told it was normal. Than it happened a number of times during log runs etc, never threw any codes. I'd hazard a guess that your fault code is actually something else/previously registered event.
  8. Final exhaust solution and sobanoodle do not go well together, I've probably tried the greatest variety of Legacy mufflers than anyone else in NZ Final solution (before I stripped the car back to stock and sold) was: Stock headers with 3rd cat delete ---> K2Gear dual mid section --> Wangan mufflers. 3rd cat removal on its own notably increases the volume, also adds some tinniness at some revs. Also instead of a bullet type resonator I'd be looking for an oval shaped - has to be fairly flat as there's not that much room and you will scrape a lot especially if yours is lowered.
  9. I had a AdrenalinR resonator in place of a factory one + 2.5" pipework + HKS mufflers = still too loud, droney, tinny. Does sound nice for the 30min then you get a headache and get massively annoyed by it. Depends on what you're after really..
  10. Pretty sure @Subirex Automotive can reprogram them. I have a bunch of proximity/smart keys left from my Legacy.
  11. A few more options https://www.rhdjapan.com/search/?q=sti gear knob https://www.rhdjapan.com/search/?dir=asc&order=price_l&p=1&q=shift+knob
  12. You need appropriate software/firmware for a reflash, I'd say only Subaru authorised service centers will have access to that. Had mine done at Winger Sublabs. Get a reflash done first as it's cheaper, then do a fluid/filter change (the filter is inside the oil pan on these).
  13. Rough gearbox down/upshift? Mine (2010 GT) was getting a bit rough at times in busy Auckland's traffic until I had the transmission control unit re-flashed/re-learn procedure done - pretty much fixed all the issues. The only owner before me (NZ new) mostly did open road and I guess the TCU adapted to driving in those lazy (for the gearbox) conditions.
  14. Cool, I just couldn't remember if BL had it or not
  15. Pretty sure BR9 did a nice fan, am I right @Kiwiflyboy?
  16. Email sent, hopefully you're able to open google drive links.
  17. Noticed that people more willingly give way to a BMW rather than a modded Subaru
  18. Damn that's pricey... had a bunch made up and was selling them on TM for $225 or something close to that. Yet people were still complaining, as always
  19. Good ol' Matt... Wouldn't go into 5th in S# unless you force it or flick back into S. Don't you need an upgraded/uprated valve body to handle higher power outputs?
  20. What's the best place to get this magic stuff from? @1randomkiwi you used it too right? See hyper stock it.
  21. I'd go for the flats, raised are for classier rims or perhaps more concaved (in my books anyway). PS: anyone looking for a set of flat Work caps in black?..
