  1. Most Certainly are allowed! We've got an RX7 coming as a clubsub attendee so why not a Ford?!
  2. I paid up the last of my fuel lines and fittings for the RA and picked em up. It's one fat stack of fittings that's for sure! My ID1300X2's arrived as well. So parts collection complete. Maybe I'll have a running car sometime in my life lol. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  3. But... You can get the genuine cast pumps for that price too? Here? But different strokes for different folks [emoji23] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah. Back in 2014, when I bought my STi RA, I got it for 7.5k. Admittedly, it had 207k on the clock and it's been an absolute dog of a car. Most of that's my fault though.
  5. That a branch off of hello kitty or something? Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  6. I went down to Ajays. Started wondering what to do with the loom. Have a v8 sti engine loom, to go with my V9 STi Spec C heads, that I need to match my V5 STi Type RA body harness. I obviously want to use the avcs, and I definitely want to use the coil on plug setup. From what I've read, better overall than wasted spark. However, I wanna keep the v5 sti manifold / idle control valve. So, do I merge the two looms, aka primary loom to use is v5 sti, then split the avcs / ignition wiring plus anything else and merge into the v5 loom. Or do I throw the v8 sti loom in, use Deutsch connector and lop off the factory connector and put those in its place and adapt v8 loom to the v5 manifold. @gotasubi any idea? 7. Just an fyi, gull don't have any issues with fuel delivery at all as they use a different supplier. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  8. All of them lol Gull in Birkenhead is current $1.67 for 91 and $1.82 for 98.... Gull in Forrest Hill with E85 is $2.05 I think for e85
  9. The short and tall of it is below summed up from the comments above. It's a few hundred $$ to just get something that will provide zero benefits to the vehicle While it sounds cool at first, give it a bit and you'll be over it more than hearing a child fart in your back seat. illegal for vent to atmo, which kinda makes getting an EWG a moot point? ????

    80PRS on gumtree

Is the PRS range quite good or something?
  11. Just quietly, we've been running full e85 in Furzes car since flatnats. And only last week. Replaced the fuel line from tank to the hardlines. They still seemed fine other than the typical 21 year old car line perish, that's expected Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  12. As @Andy_Mac has stated, could be just that. Gull 98, with it's 10% ethanol could be just enough for it to run better. Reason being, is that Eth is a great cooling agent. Combine that with 98 octane, and you've got a nice mix which makes for something a little more knock resistant. Not hugely, but in your case, maybe just enough. Short and tall of it is, if the car runs better on it, just run it on that. All Subaru's post 2001 should be able to handle it.
  13. By chance, can you go to a part of the log of where you're at boost target and Wide open throttle?

  15. I'm now finally able to make a move on building my RAs new motor with the help of Ajay at SubiRex Automotive. New closed deck block on the way which is replacing the toasted old one. New head studs, have a set of bl/bp quad AVCS heads that I'm going to Jimmy in there. And of course will be running e85. I also created what is essentially an end to end engine bay fuel system spreadsheet. That includes all fittings you'll need, prices, places to buy from, part numbers and links. Hope you enjoy that as I'm 100% sure it'll help people who don't know where to go. Side note, there are -6 to -8 reducers in there. That's specific to my build. You'll need to change those for 5/16th hardline to -8 fittings. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vf0T1Z7zlKoGg6GaD-NYnLt0NXM0JGOZmLKc6zk9wgs/edit?usp=drivesdk Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  16. All it needs now is a prodrive front bumper. That'd be the absolute business. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  17. Then perfect! Exactly how it should be Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  18. Just an fyi. There should be SOME side to side play. No back and forth. Also it sounds about right for how long it should spin for with no oil in it. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah it is indeed Furzes car. Same engine (factory EJ207) minus three changes which is the motor now has dual valve springs and my STi twin scroll manifold, and intake manifold w/ custom Fuel rail setup which you can see in this video https://photos.app.goo.gl/pZXJXiwcfQKu6j4t2
  20. Well, we found the Holsets Boost issue lol. We ordered a new Wastegate just to be on the safe side.
  21. That's absolutely f*cking mental.
  22. The tuner wouldn't tune the car... Because it's too loud? Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  23. Ooooooh that's right! I remember your post about it Cool bit of kit
  24. You've got an EFR turbo just sitting on a shelf doing nothing?
