    ive always used castrol edge 10w60 in my car for track and dyno and it seems to work so far with all the raping i give my car.

    you should use engine oil in your engine and gearbox oil in your gearbox
  6. diff ratios don't matter if you are RWD
  7. unbolt the injector rail off the manifold and get someone to prime the fuel pump by turning the key from acc to ON while you lift the rail up and check for and fuel dripping underneath rail. there should be no fuel when key turned to on, only when key turned to start

  12. Everytime i have heard that noise it has been the gearbox. it may not be but at least 5 i have heard have been the gearbox
  13. sounds like your gearbox is damaged. you will prob need a new one soon
  14. is it manual or auto? manual is 3 port, auto is 2 port

  16. ive got -4 for my oil feed and so far so good but what turbo are you running? use as big as you can for oil drain as you don't want build up in the turbo causing the seals to leak
  17. yea 250+kmh is very fast. I managed to top out in 5th gear 7500rpm on a private rd in my legacy. You get very bad tunnel vision at those speeds

  19. mythbusters proved the second one is busted
  20. if you have a multimeter check there in +12v into the ecu
  21. also if its alarmed the imobilisers could be playing up. you will need to short out the wires to disable the imobiliser. unplugging it will make it worse as you said. electrics will just die at random points
  22. if you are not getting a check engine light and no prime the ecu is not getting power, check the battery terminals and the plugs into the ecu
