  1. Yep I had one of these. You can fit Wrx/Sgt Struts but not sti struts iirc. I had wrx struts with sti springs but still really high off the ground. I would look for some lowering springs $400-$600 or adjustable coilovers if you dont mind spending 2k. I also put on the Sti sway bar which is a nice little upgrade. @Gripless I think some come with rear sway bar, my 2008 2.0r came with one. wasn't very thick tho. prob 15mm. The hatch with lowered suspension with some nice wheels do look sick as... Another mod is the sti rear spoiler, its expensive for just a mod that looks cool but it does make it look way better.
  2. Yeah I saw that. One of their funnier videos
  3. @RAYDEO Again... Was raining a bunch so u cant see plate but u can kinda see CS sticker. I dont think it was you driving it tho.
  4. oh yeah this event is epic. Last year has over 1000 cars. Unfortunately its same day as leadfoot and that takes a few people away. I would prob only be able to come mid afternoon Sure others will be there tho
  5. Thats the plan. Already have it I just need to install before the tune.
  6. Or you can get a switch wired up to disable boost controller so u can switch it inside the car
  7. Cant find much info on this after a quick google. Im just wondering whats needed to do the fog light conversion for the Sti? Any wiring or other components other than the fog lights themselves to do this conversion?
  8. Yeah, hopefully it gets picked up in the tune or something.
  9. Not that im aware of.. seems to be okay.
  10. idk, the fuel economy was just as bad before I put in the fuelpump. Its gonna get tuned in the near future so I guess that could fix it.
  11. Car: 2001 Wrx StiTuned: TB exhaust, AEM fuel pump, Not tuned yet.Fuel: BP 98Fuel Economy: 350kms out of a tank, could do 400 with nana driving.
  12. Fuel pump went in after dyno run. No injectors.
  13. maaan, im missing out.... Why is mine using so much? I took it for a dyno run when I got it and everything seemed to be okay and the economy hasn't changed since then... Ima do some research.
  14. Okay, a o2 sensor came with the downpipe I just got today, it might be newer than my current one so ill get the guys to figure out which one is in best condition before they put downpipe back on (getting DP swapped out same time as clutch).
  15. what you serious?? What could be going on, something like a sensor issue? Im getting a tune soon, maybe the tuner can find something going on with fueling.
  16. I dont have a build in one but I can show you my stats. I get about 350kms out of $95-$100 of 98 which is around $2.20/L iirc. Think its around 45 liters so about 7.5 - 8.0 km per liter which is not very good. Poor Subis are heavy drinkers...
  17. Factory GRB recirc valve? I have bov that gives me all the low boost sututu (not sure if its supposed to but oh well)
  18. Damn... I got pretty lucky with mine, no issues yet.
  19. Wish there was a Gull in Wellington...
  20. Not too knowledgeable on this but could the catalytic converter could be blocked/buggered? Assuming you have cats... My V7 Sti spools up full boost around 4k rpm and drops all the way from 18.5 psi to 12 psi, even 4k is later than most v7's iirc.
  21. @Scoobydoo Hold on to it for 5 years and ill buy it Im going to get one of those one day, they are just a crazy thing
  22. No rest for the wicked lolol If only there was a wellington branch
  23. Very nice choice Not selling mine tho
