You can remove rear seats so long as you also take out seatbelts can you not? Also the whole drilling out of bolts seems very popular on race bikes. Got a mate who races a 400cc and almost every bolt on the damn thing is drilled out. Pretty crazy if you ask me, but then again after taking his bike around Manfield for a lap a few weeks back I think hes nuts anyway.

I dont think cops do a bad job with the whole drink driving thing tbh. Theres just a real NZ culture "just a few, she will be right mate" and it really pisses me off. The amount of good "kiwi blokes" who think there to tough to be felled by alcohol then have to drive to prove it is ridiculous. Females are far from immune either. I guess it comes back to common sense not being so common really.

+1 on that. The amount of assholes I know that drink drive and get away with it. I also see it all the time if im working a late shift at work, people who cant even stand and they drop the clutch out of the parking lot.

16 or not I dont think they can make you sell a car you already own. I think when it was introduced in Aus recently it was phased in so from a certain date you couldnt buy certain cars on certain licenses. I would be extremly surprised if they could make you see what you have. Natural selection of sort should weed out the morons pretty quick anyway.

Dont have one myself but I do a lot of travel and borrow a mates when I can as I dont want even absent minded stupid tickets in the company car. Still hasnt missed a beat for me on Highway mode. I cant remember if thats K or Ka. Coudlnt tell you if I have encountered the new speed cameras, just that it has picked up every cop I have seen on the open road in the last 20,000 kms+.

Bell XR STI is the best radar going IMO. Just keep in mind no radar makes you bulletproof. If your speeding and the cop does his/her job right he/she will get you.

TBH as said if your not doing wrong you should be pretty safe. Also the warning system (two written warnings it said) should mean if you are being targeted by a certain cop you have time and recourse through the Police complaints authority. However if your being a nob you may well lose your car to the crusher. So long as at least one warning is mandatory and there is an appeasl system I have no issue with this. So long as any cop wearing aviators and a size to tight pants cant crush your car for going down a certain street at 3am in the morning. Oh and +1 on limiting engine size etc, I have been on that bandwagon for a long time now.

I got to 198kph at Manfield the other week. I looked down at the speedo, freaked a little, braked to early then duffed my line through the corner lol.

Alright let the work on him begin then ha ha. He just upgraded from a 400 to a 600 and the 600 already had a lap timer so he said he might throw it my way for a hundred bucks. Might have to go take it off the bike tommorow before anyone else gets there filthy mits on it.

Thanks for that Tony I have a mate using a similar set up to the tradme link on his bike and I might be able to get my hands on for $100 a box and a real nice smile lol. That was the main reason im contemplating it. Im not getting out enough to want one at that trademe price just yet. But its all good research in the mean time.
