In the highlighted red is a wee joiner in the hose that goes to a T piece which conneted to the wastegate and the inlet of the turbo. Could I replace the joiner with a T piece and then hook it up to a boost gauge?
Replaced my Rear View Mirror:
Part number: X9201AE000
My other one had bubbled.
OEM Grille badge
Part number: 93011FE040
Old one looks like poo in comparison.
What about a V7 STi? Can pick those up for a not a bad price. Pop on a good turbo, free up the exhaust, retune = done?
I guess they're not a looker though.
Tein springs
White line swaybars
White line links
RE003 tyres
I think RDL Performance can do wheel alignments now, otherwise gotasuby might be able to once Richard is back.
Sounds like you're onto it!
Daily driver for me. Gets me from A to B, with some fun inbetween.
I also chose learning curve as I like modding my car, upgrading things and learning new stuff as I go along.
Haven't really publicised it, but two months ago I bought a Version 8 Wagon and my Version 3 has been sitting in the garage while I contemplating what I wanted to do with it. I've come to the conclusion I should sell it on to free up some money and cross off some of my to-do mods for the Version 8.
On the Vers3 I ran Goodyear Eagle F1, great tyre in all conditions. Done 35,000's on them and still got 5mm tread left.
On the Vers8, I've got Yokohama (no idea what) and Zetum sports on the rear.
I'll be probably going for a full set of Zetum's as at the moment I don't see the need get a $$$ set. If money allowed, I'd probably try the Bridgestrone RE003.
As I've never sold a car before and it's time to get rid of mine, has anyone got any advice to share when it comes to selling a car?
I know someone posted up a nice. semi-formal document that both parties could sign to give the seller some proof that the car was good as of that point in time and any issues in future were not their problem. I think it might of been Boon?
Anyways, aside from the usual making sure the buyer has a licence and to be in the car when being test driven no matter what. What else is there to keep in mind?
Chur!
A huge thanks to D1Style for supplying me with:
- Version 7 STi Intercooler
- Version 7 STi splitter
- Version 7 STi Strut brace
These are now fitted onto the car

Gas cap wouldn't have helped. Best bet is to disconnect the fuel pump relay (or pull it's fuse, or leave the car immobilized) and crank it over to use up the residual pressure in the lines. They stay pressurised cause the fuel pump has a one way valve to hold pressure in the lines.
I'll try remember this.. but come 30k I'd have forgotten.
At the time I was more impressed that I was able to get the fuel lines off without help from someone with muscles.
What lens were you using to shoot those photos? Looks great to me.
I changed my fuel filter the other day.. forgot to take the gas cap off to relieve some pressure and got sprayed in the face with petrol. Oh well!
Hmm.. I'm in the opposite situation, Partsouq refunded me for a product that was not in stock and also for shipping. I wasn't aware of this until Paypal said I had received a partial refund.
I guess I've still got a few days to go as Paypal says it takes up to 10 days for a refund to clear.
Make a intercooler sprayer like what Nick has, or seriously look into a front mount.
There is also meth injection, but you'd need a Link.
I know what you're meaning, but if there is a coating (which I doubt) that increase the efficiency of your intercoler, the cost for doing so wouldn't be worth it.
