Huh.. so easy! Yeah mine's a Greddy atmo venting one. Well the AFM i put on was shot and I was blobbing all over the city haha so 10min under torchlight and the other one back on without a problem Will see if the BoV is leaking tomorrow.

+1 for RDL. However, I don't think you'd get a loan car from them. You could try Stubaru though.

Started the car up, it's cold so it's idling higher, will check when it's warmed up, so when I'm on my way to work and can't do anything How would I check for the BOV to be leaking?? Might have to have a nosey at it.

Changed my AFM with the other one I have to see if that stops my sometimes bumpy idle. And was kind of bored too..

Mines stayed as it is. I don't push it while it's cold but it can feel like it's being a slow poke until it's warmer. I'd definitely take it in while it's under warranty and get them to have a look.

If you've got a warranty I'd take it in and tell them about it. I've had my car for almost year (Will be in june/july. I forgot)

Always been like that since I've owned the car. My guess is it's just a mild case of piston slap but as soon as she's warmed up the noise goes away.

I think it might very very little piston slap, but I honestly don't have a clue..

Does this sound like your problem?? I took that of my car when it's cold. Stays like that until it's warm.

If it's lifters, one possible solution could be to use a thicker oil, 10w40. But I'm not sure what the noise is sorry.

With the help of Flat4 and a special thanks to Thorpy and Jake_the_muss I had my gearbox and rear diff oils changed :-)

That's got my interested.. I know absolutely nothing about compression ratios, but would a engine with a compression ratio of 9:1 spool a turbo, lets say that VF22, faster than an 8:5 or 8:1 ratio?? Sorry to thread hijack too

Hit up RDL performance and ask them for a quote. You'll also want the idlers, tensoners, waterpump.. etc changed as well. Or try Stubaru. Both I'd recommend

The bulb is probably on it's way out. Mine did the same, now it doesn't work

I was thinking the new exhaust was making the turbo over spool. Is there another "dirty" way to put the car in limp mode or something so they can't ruin your engine? I need panel and paint work done and having doubts now.
