Yup the oil can damage and kill the AFM. Best to just stick to stock as it's best unless you get an un-oiled pod filter and make a cold air box for it

Forgive me for chiming in late, but my V3 97 wagon does 10PSI with the little TD04. Only mods done to my car is a BOV and v4sti muffler.

I get the same problem on my WRX wagon, really drives me up the wall. Would love it quietened. Are these "window runners" obvious when you take the panels off?
