  1. lol - you couldnt afford the car you have now when it was new either
  2. lols - its a concept car try searching for B9 Scrambler -it was another concept car from Subaru in 02 or 03 it never made it to production
  3. BC8660 suit PH2 engine Your PH1 cams are too small in the mounting boss Also the triggering for the cam sensor on the BC gears is the later system found on MY01+ vehicles So you\'d need to run the later crank sprocket too and once youve done that you\'d need to do a metric ton of wiring and reflashing done to a laer ecu or go aftermarket Real street performance in Florida have them in stock atm - $550 usd +frieght + gst (if cutoms chose)
  4. Not a wof item Jon unless its noted on your cert Untill you see one fail with big Hp, keep ya head in the sand and ignore your own safety (If it should happen - dont blame the cert /wof or track inspections )
  5. Will be going down on the 8th march to chch from wellys, only in a type r coupe though so would it fit?
  6. tanker would have no more than a 10min drive from the storage terminal -
  7. Haven\'t had the car out in a while but fuck that\'s bullshit will mean 30-40kms just to get gas
  8. +1 or it gives names so just Car jam then white pages and done, well that\'s what I\'ve always done for cars
  9. Just pm them, and then if they feel the need to take your advice they can edit there own listing, just keep it out of The actual for sale thread IMO
  10. lol - not actually that common, might be the pretend monkeys undoing stuff the wrong way ?
  11. Either way, can call it scamming if ya want, but I know every car I\'ve sold I put an extra1-2k on and see if some idiot pays for it, and most of the time it has worked, then if it doesn\'t drop it to a more realistic price after a couple of weeks
  12. We know they can make that power STM have a customers car that is currently in their showroom @ 750Kw 6spd with "ghost shifter" (air /electric ) wicked ! Sadly tho - it seems to snap axles / diffs all the time - lol And YUP ave a pair thanks -
  13. too many variables - yup a 10.0 car is fast (VERY), but will it handle a 20lap around Puke , taupo, or manfeild? An would it beat say Jon\'s much less powerful 300Kw car ? Jons wouldn\'t beat it down the 1/4 thats for sure ... Just want poeple to compare apples with apples Too many haters , people doing s*** all wrong and costing theselves heaps, tall popies, and know nothings ( usually the workshop haters ) Sadly we have lost some very very good guys from CS through the doings of the above mentioned peeps It was suggested here ages ago a dyno board for track race , restricted race cars (rally etc) , drag cars and then if we leave a board for the more sedate but true road cars - more guys/gals get a shot a the dyno boad Heres an idea how about a dyno board for NOS, alcohol fuels, Ethanol blended race fuels, petrol
  14. Where abouts mate I live in that area haha
  15. May be best to hire a little flat bed truck and then tow a trailer with the 2nd car on it
  16. Well u just said yourself 8-9 k so insure it for 10 of course it\'s going to depreciate from "new" that\'s what things tend to do, but you seem to know all this, so what are you actually asking? No insurer will pay u 30k for an 9k car
  17. If your comparing 30k, to 8-9k you sure your already not overpaying your premium by 20k? Market value won\'t drop that much and you can get independent people to value the car not nesicairily the one from the insurer
  18. which means the warrant system is working as is...... the accidents are not being caused in any huge % by mchancial issues Its the driver we need to overhaul..
  19. plenty of accidents have been caused from a driveshaft failure
  20. has any one noticed/seen the report done about the causes of serious crashes Over 90% are directy caused by the driver (inc lack of maitainence, driving skills) Less than 2% are deemed to be caused by mechanical failure Mechanical failure is steering failing, driveshaft breaking and digging in NOT worn tyres , bulbs, etc ( they are matainence items ) that a driver should be checking 5% from roads - breaking up, pots holes etc ( not excess speed in wet etc , as thats a driver issue) What does all this mean.......... The current system WORKS ! Lets see in a few years what the mechanical failure % is
