1. the v2 sti ra, v3 sti and v7 wrx diffs / axles ive seen / used were all the same.
2. Right so... in gc and bg legacy stuff the viscous and plated diffs use the same axle stubs. The early rs type diffs are a male stub on the diff side afaik. But once you get into r160 female diffs all the ones ive seen are the same
3. i think you find the ICV is all up in the v3/4 TMIC, and its not a direct wire up from memory. kamineko did it and his wiring is all over the shop to make it work
4. But theres nothi g wrong with his box apart from doing up that nut. Vs having to pay money for a ln unknown box. Net result = retarded
5. ^ lol why? thats retarded, its a simple and cheap fix. it doesn\'t indicate any further damage or degradation to the box.
6. you can see the large fuck off nut on the back of the input shaft there, i think its that one that comes loose. obviously no transfer case shown in this pic. (and yes its a dual range box)
7. the input shaft goes right through the box to the transfer case dude
8. that is the input shaft, but its the nut on the back of the input shaft, which accessible if you remove the center diff off the back of the box. i.e its inside the box
9. the MY05 6mt box i put in (v9 Spec c) mated perfectly to my MY97 CV\'s. yes its a female box but get the stubs from subaru or an automatic and direct bolt up. tl:dr its still not a cv nightmare.
10. was going to suggest the exact same thing, just couldnt remember the term
11. and same applies for 6mt boxes too there is no jigsaw at all
12. this is this normal procedure. leaving it idling going no where \'to warm up\' is a pointless waste of time.
13. perhaps i was a touch general in my commute to work, just checked in SPDA and it has the following. appears you\'re right and its optioned. i cant see anything about blitzen specifically.

JDM Legacy RSK & GT-B MY99-00TY754VBAAAopen

JDM Legacy RSK MY00TY754VBACAw/ LSD option

JDM Legacy RSK & GT-B MY01TY754VBBBAOpen

JDM Legacy RSK & GT-B MY01TY754VBBCAHelical LSD

14. That would more be a reflection of the cert guy than any rule imo. I didnt fail cert and run blox on race car.
15. Normal rsk\'s also got the front lsd from factory while the gtb didnt. It wasnt a blitzen special thing. OP - 100% cosmetic
16. We use motul stuff kev. But you cannot use the shock proof in a 6mt. Its bad.
17. I have an arc aftermaket tmic that would suit ur car. Basically u need to go something like i have or.. go fmic
18. tying a bonnet to a roof is just ASKING for trouble. they are MASSIVE sails
19. ry QFAF? im sure i got one in my GF8, certainly WONT fit in a GC and i know they DO fit inside a BG legacy.
20. a baffled sump is a good idea, talk to lots of people before making decisisons as any sump is only better than factory - none make you invinceable.
21. your tune is superior at every point and will pull more everywhere. sure it crashes earlier but thats normal where you try to bring on little turbos earlier, they crash sooner. it crashes earlier but at every point your tq is greater than the wg pressure. so it will feel relatively different based on the new \'pull\' factor at any place on your curve. hands down its going to be a faster car. id be well happy with that sort of tune / result.
22. BNT / SAS for whiteline. ripco and superghey for notlec?
