Today, was pretty impressed. Miles better than the old GC8s for ride an comfort and you can actually hear your self talk. It had Tein adjusties in it and it was still very smooth. didnt end up buying it as it was over my budget and the paint was a bit scrappy. V7 sti for me for my new car!

Shame he did it to a nice prodrive sti. Big power though, wonder how many kms on that engine?

Got the old girl back from my mechanics, now has a new starter motor, manifold gaskets, 2 x headstuds and a carb that hopefully doesnt just continually hose fuel into the engine. The new starter motor sounds like a truck one, its got a hell of a whirr to it as it cranks over ;D

Im getting the carb rebuilt on Friday as its a bit thirsty at the moment does a hundred miles to 45l, worse than a bloody v8! Ive also got a winch to go on the front in preperation for some 4wding I want to get into, then nothing will stop me 8)

Took some photos of my new speed demon: Has a holden 202 in it and is loads of fun, not the quickest thing in the world, but I can throw rubbish in it, the dog the kids and it still doesnt need cleaning.

Try and get lowish km ones if you can they seem to knock otherwise and arnt cheapto rebuild, but then most shocks are knackered after 60K odd kms anyway. When I was looking decent sti ones were going for more than bilsteins and generally looked thrashed in comparison.

Was a good upgrade in my old ra, but you will need springs other wise it will be high. The rear top hats need swapping over and to do it properly youve got undo the braklines etc and then bleed them once it goes back to gether.

Turns out it was simple to fix, some dick hadnt done the top hat nut up properly. ;D car handles much better now, no bumps lnocks or rattles. Goes round corners like its on rails.
