  1. Might be being paranoid but this is all the information on my 2 helmets Will they both pass? they both appear to be in brand new condition as ive never fallen off with either of these helmets on 1 tag says E1 1 tag says E9 free temporary image hosting
  2. You can do anything you put your mind to mate! What car is it? Probably a few options out there for you. Can't imagine any of them will be as straight forward as you might like

Same as in Jarhead ^_ ^ I used to buy and sell cars for a profit when i was at uni for some extra scratch, had a few goodies - a mate of mine worked at giltrap and he'd call me whenever he'd give someone nothing for their car as a trade in, then id go buy it, fix when was wrong with it and polish it up, Best one was a 2001 Audi A6 (in 2008 these were still considered pretty fancy) picked it up for 3k - spent 1k and sold it for 9 a few weeks later. These days I only care about 2 cars - my ute (makes money) and my rs (uses said money) I'll probably keep my RS untill I die, then ill pass it on to my 1st son, ill come to him in a dream and tell him where the keys are and to only run it on BP98
  4. +1 for the above i rekon ^^ The spacers might help but wont be 100%, the bracket on your control arm is on an angle, so thats throwing things off in the pic showing how the spacers work - the bracket is straight up and down on the control arm bar definately looks the part! will be upgrading mine in the future, fronts pretty good but rear is terrible on me rs

  6. Just had a thought, I'm only on my restricted license LOL completely forgot, will that do it will I need a full license? Ive had my restricted since I was 17 I just never got around to getting my full - was overseas alot

  8. Interesting seeing some of the 300kW + dyno charts, with torque in the 500Nm, can anyone explain in amo terms as to how my RS pulled 187kW but torque over 700Nm ?   13. No way mate! I havn't decided what way to go on that one, probably end up going EWG plumbed back in but for now ill leave it, sounds way different after the tune (well that gate does, way less screamy)
  14. Cert is the same for anything I believe, I will eventually get the car certed once all the mods are done, so I can get all the mods certed at once. Now that nearly everything is fixed on it I don't think I'll have too much trouble getting a cert
  15. Took the RS Ajays - My new BC Gold Coil-overs and Brembo brakes to go on, should be interesting to see if the brembos fit in the back, just found a set of V4 Sti rear hubs so if they dont fit my STD RS hubs hopefully they fit the V4 wrx hubs (and then hopefully the V4 hubs fit my rear shafts)
  16. Pretty sure I paid a few weeks ago unless I'm having a brain fart lol roger that, I'll leave the bumper on, how thorough is scrutiny? My car will definitely be up to wolf standard as it will have a new wof, but it will definitely have an atomos venting ewg, which is obviously much too unsafe for road use but for track use do you think it would be a problem?

  18. Just went off the title, just got the good news that my RS is done - picking it up tomorrow ^_^_^_^_^_^ dont know about kW yet !!! the tune is done!!! ^_ ^
  19. Its not even out of the woods yet either, I could have a mildly blown head gasket (not 100% but worst case scenario will be HG) so if thats the case add a couple more K on that lol ^_< meh, I will not rest untill this BC5 can moooooove

I say 5k because there's always something extra that needs doing when it comes to my car lol thats including the G4 / install and tune, I also got every feature the G4 has to offer (launch control anti lag blah blah) plus they put a new Fenix radiator in it and has been on and off the dyno a few times now. if it's under 5k then I won't be stressing

My RS is at PBMS, Expecting to pay between 3 and 5k, mine being an oldie has run into a few problems, things worn out / things not working properly, so theres been alot of downtime repairing and re-dynoing - I'm definately happy with the service so far Btw, I highly reccomend FENIX intercooler kits, mine was around 500 including a Good Quality Fenix FMIC (550x240x76) and joiners/brackets/hoseclamps - I noticed no difference in lag over the stock V1 air to air IC. none at all, ive heard lots about FMIC in subis causing epic lag, even un-tuned I experienced no more lag than usual Ive even gone with a FENIX alloy radiator too so the bay is looking slick!
  22. What are the rules about accidental all 4 spin? I mean, if your really pushing it and peel around a corner while twisting a nip and the back kicks out, can you stylishly plant it and whip it out wide? Just for the record I know how westie that sounds edit - refering to taupo track day
  23. My rs has 265+km(?) on the clock, the engine and gearbox code doesn't match the vin plate so who knows what the engines done hahaha
  24. Will get in touch as soon as the RS gets back from PBMS, its gonna be a busy month for the RS ^_ ^
