I love my 2.0ltr. Can push to over 550kw atws. Considered trying different options but figure why change something thats good. But my car is built for circuit racing not drag.
I have 40k in race car trailers that are used by others alot more than me free of charge. Would let anyone in this club borrow one of them no problem at all.
However I can totally agree about being organised yourself. It's not hard to make a few phone calls or arrangements for the what if situation prior to the event. My trailer queen two cents worth
Does anyone have any good custom designed maps for the mapdccd they wanna sell me?
Just to save me some time and gas on the track. Might not be perfect but I can fine tune afterwards.
Or am I best to just do it myself?
Thanks
Hayden
Look outside of nz. Heaps of options out there if you can't find anything here. I had fibreglass before I went to carbon. I'd sell you mine but it needs love and would suit racecar
I want a couple of Hans devices but not sure if they are a racetech product or not. And a bloody expensive new seat. Shame they don't want to discount deal on there products also
That place on stanmore road is the cheapes by far. Out the back of the gas station... forgot name. 80bux for 24 hours for memory. Maybe less. They are low and trailer 5 is 2metres between guards so fits anything.
nope. I only ran it with the 265's full slick, not my current setup. but im not going dry sump because I had problems. I'm going dry sump because I can
Ill find out details and let you guys know to fight over it. Its big and has been custom made and like ballsrburning said above id say it would be a bloody good one
Ok thanks mate, I'll give him a email and see what's been done. I was thinking it may have had something done just by judging rest of the build.
Thanks
Yeah think that's best. I pulled a wheEl off today and the car actually has had a 5x100 to 5x114.3 coverter on it this whole time. So my 17x9s are 5x114.3.
Still think hub change is best plan. Until then will just run the converter spacer. Been good enough all this time can hold on a wee bit longer till I source hubs
5 months... I'm to impatient for that.
Yeah the wide body is fibre, Half the wing is too. And the doors weigh nothing. Being coupe might be slightly lighter too I'm not sure.
He said he always built it with weight in mind right from the beginning. Hopefully shouldn't get heavier with new wheels since sequential saves weight apart entry and carbon shafts. Should all balance out to be roughly the same fingers crossed
