I take it you knocked out the recessed/dented part of nut first? And if it didn't work, just get a bigger bar. I have a piece of Dexion racking brace (like from warehouse and supermarket shelving) that I slip over the handle of a 1/2" drive. A 1.3 meter power bar is great for cracking those nuts.
