  1. Normally your insurer will have a list of approved repairers. Ask them for that list, and go from there.
  2. There are plugs under the dash you have to plug together before it will show any codes. If there are no codes, then it will just flash at a constant rate.
  3. If Grenada North isn't too far to go, then there's Al at Macbilt.. does he still go by that business name?
  4. Yep will definitely be there. Will probably take the Foz out on track this time around
  5. Also remember that the mods you are wanting to do, weren't around (or probably even thought of) at the time of the factory ECU, so it's no surprise that it won't like it. It would probably have no idea how to handle the mods, it'll be like... WTF?!?!
  6. Hrmm.. '02. Perhaps it's an OBD2 model, in which case the plugs under the dash doesn't work. Is it an SF or SG chassis?
  7. Yeah you will want something with extra strength, given that you're wanting to cover trims that can get direct sunlight. Personally I think you'll be better off with stuff that you have to brush on, rather than spray on. Also use stuff that you have to apply to both surfaces, as the stuff bonds to itself much better, than to any surface. Another thing to remember is if you're covering plastic - use a wax & grease remover on the panels before you cover it. This will remove any top layer of shiny film / protectants, and it will bond better to the surface.
  8. Don't know about Imprezas... but the earliest Legacy's you're looking at will be BLE / BPE
  9. Have been linked to this site from another forum from overseas: https://www.amayama.com/en/ For anything you may not find on Partsouq, or parts with competitive prices / shipping times.
  10. Word has it the site is no longer accepting any Subaru related searches - VINS, Part numbers etc. Hopefully it's just another bug and not a permanent change!
  11. Haha clint gets away with even less now
  12. Does Grahame have your cell number? He sends out reminder texts whenever we arrange something to his ClubSUB Welly group.
  13. And after organising it, the insurance company has called and has asked for the car to get the rims assessed / repaired. So I might not even have a car lol.
  14. Also to be confirmed, but CS committee may provide for some of the noms
  15. So I've come up with this idea: Date: Thursday 24th September Venue: Fisherman's Table Restaurant, Paekakariki Time: 7:30pm www.facebook.com/events/1668111243436155/ We shall all meet for a meal, then a cruise back to the City via a couple of our favourite roads - Paekakariki Hill & Grays Road, then back into the city. If it's good weather we can stop somewhere for photo's, but will play that one by ear. I'll make reservations on Thursday afternoon once I get an idea of numbers.
  16. Id suggest contacting Drews and advising what your plans ae with the car, and he can advise what's good. He currently has the FlatNats deal on at the moment, and you'll be very hard pressed to beat his prices. I've actually just been through the same discussions with him about mine, and for me, the two options were either standard, or upgrade to a solid-riveted plate, which increases the driveability, rather than being on/off like a ceramic plate is. I didn't want a ceramic one, for that reason. Since my car is basically factory I went for standard. But if your plans are to have upwards of 300kw, then an SRO would definitely be the one for you. You can read more about them here: http://www.mpautoparts.co.nz/Clutches.php But contact Drews directly for his special price.
  17. Wheel Magician is good for fixing curbing and road rash, but not major damage like this. But as it has already been said, $400 for a new rim is probably the best bet, seeing as it would cost almost that much to fix it. Rolling on a space saver atm?
  18. Yeah, what brand springs are you using? If they are Kings, then they will (read: should) have the model number on the spring. Then you can look up that model number and confirm if they are Fronts or Rears. http://www.kingsprings.com/catalogue/Kings_Superlow_Caralogue.pdf
  19. Funnily enough, I'm going through a process to get a wheel or two of mine fixed, or replaced. There is Advanced Wheel Repairs in Porirua, but the Autobody shop that I took mine in to get assessed, said they send their wheels off to Arrow in Auckland. I have used Rimrite in Palmy with good success as well, but nothing quite as nasty as what you've got there. I'd go to the Porirua place first, and see what they say. If they say it's too tough for them, then either Arrow or Rimrite.
  20. I wonder how many wives and girlfriends are going to get asked to buy them haha
  21. So the rear shocks have been swapped out? If they are orange, then yes they are STi Genome, very good quality! Perhaps you should get the model number off the label off the shock, perhaps they are wagon ones rather than sedan ones? A possibility maybe?
