#16 Vac Hose

Just noticed the number 16 vac hose Hose has been Blocked off with a screw and the Thing that its suppose to go to (not sure what its called) has been blocked off

anyone knows what this is Doing/restricting?

Right.

The other end should be attached to the forward of two small nipples that come off the side of the large plastic T that is directly above the secondary turbo BOV. The nipple towards the front of the engine is for line 16 while the one just behind it is for line 22 which runs to the pressure sensor solenoid. The nipples are plastic and have a thin outer wall that secure the hoses in place.

#22 feeds one side of the differential pressure sensor, which lets the ECU know when to open ICV.

#16 feeds from the same place, and if memory serves me right it acts as a pressure source either for the secondary wastegate or something else. The secondary wastegate isn't used on early models, so the line is fairly redundant. He blocked one side to keep the DPS happy, and possibly the other just to seal it all up. If I can find my TT diagram somewhere I could tell you for certain!

The large T above the BOV should have 16 running to the BBOD and 22 running to the pressure sensor.

Chances are someone found it loose, figured the car was running fine without and and just blocked it up. It would have caused a small vac leak at the big T end.

This will give you the idea.

yeah that's the one

cars been running pretty sweet apart from it playing up lately only boosting 5psi and second turbo not kicking due to an exhaust leak? :S

should i leave those hoses as it is or reconnected how it should be?

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
