Ok Im a bit confused about injectors

Say you have a set of 200cc injectors and a set of 440cc injectors

The 200cc injectors are running a 40% and the 440cc injectors are running at 40%

The 440cc injectors would be putting out more fuel?

Yes but thats about how much HP per injector would support

well i think you answer your own question

if a 100cc injector is open 100% of the time you will have... well lets say 100 cubic centimeters of fuel flowed per minute, at a certain constant fuel pressure.

half the duty cycle, half the fuel flowed

double the injector size, double the fuel flowed

increase the fuel pressure, increase the flow - however the spray pattern may change

this is a simple approximation but you get the idea?

Which is also why you have to change your ECU when you change injectors.

I've seen a few people stick yellows in a grey top car and report overfueling. DERP, i wonder why. The ECU will be telling the injector x duty cycle, and the injector will do exactly that, but will be dumping more fuel than the old injectors.

So yellow injectors should be fine with a chipped ecu?

Was out of a car running 440cc injectors but in mine I still have grey injectors

ECU's don't work if you just randomly swap them between different models aye.....

na it was out of 1991 rs then I put it in my 1992 rs
