what would be a good ecu to upgrade to for my 1990 rs??

also how many plugs is my one??

Plenty of chips available for these too. I got my GT chipped by Dynamic Race. Raised rev limit, removes boost and speed cuts, raised boost pressure, "improved" ignition and fuel maps, and mine runs the bigger yellow injectors too.

wicked. so would it be good to get the ra ecu? or just chip the 1 i have? or get the ra ecu and chip that???

Either or. I got an RS-R ECU and chipped that, so I can always go back to standard with my old ECU.

Get the RA ECU and try that first. You may not need a chip.

You may do, but as we don't know the specs of your setup currently its hard to say.

that should be a Z5 ecu?

the sticker on it say's w6 i think...i got it when i got my ra manifold and the guy reknd the ecu and manifold come out of the same car, a v2 ra??? so was the prick lying?

the manifold does have the 5th injector

i looked it up a while ago and cant even remember what it i found out about it...

anyway a quick search on google or will sort it ...might have a look later on its abit late ;D

oh yea thats a wrx-ra, not that much of an upgrade really.

7k is what you want for a better upgrade though, used to run one in my v2 wrx, made a huge difference. the most aggressive 4-plug factory ecu.

that 7k ecu i had was from kaminekos car actually
