Ebay Conrods?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with these EJ20 rods you find on ebay.

Two piece forged, good for 10,000rpm and 1000hp, but the rod bolts they come with are only good for 9000.

I find their claims dubious (as no-one has a 1000hp engine they would trust with $400 rods), but they are definately stronger and lighter than factory components (we bought some for our H22A speedway car). They are also balanced to within a gram of eachother. It's cheaper than re-sizing new ones...

What have you heard?

You can get eagle conrods from the US for around the same price.

Edit: wouldnt be much more for them bought in nz either actualy.

Alot cheaper than 800 from aus. Seriously, did you actualy look?

Redline advertises those as I beam, but in the picture they are H beam.

H beam connecting rods are said to be suited to high boost or forced induction setups.

I beam connecting rods cost more to produce as they require special machining.
