Speed camera tolerance dropping to 5km !!

It'sn always a big question, eh. Where should their time go...whose deaths should they be preventing?

IMO traffic and general duties needs to be COMPLETELY separated so there's no question of...what are you doing pulling me over, some chick's probably being raped right now. If they are traffic, they can't actually be solving robberies elsewhere.

And that way there's no question of resources being pumped into both.

Let's face it, we really need more cops, and highly trained ones at that. I do actually like a higher presence on the roads; there are SO MANY MIDDLE AGED D!CIKHEADS that have nearly killed me this weekend with their mad driving! And not to mention fellow azns to SOLLY SOLLY their way into the side of your car or a power pole because they didn't notice it there. At least they seem to be content going 35 everywhere...just across two lanes.

Though that raises the argument - why not catch people for doing stupid, selfish, aggressive sh!t instead of just speeding? It's my view that arrogant and dangerous driving (read: pushing in front of others, overtaking in illegal places, harrassing other road users, doing stupid sh!t around trucks, etc) causes more accidents and deaths than simply exceeding the speed limit by a few. Anyone wiping themselves out via speed is probably doing a WHOLE LOT MORE than just 5-10 over, and if they're already disobeying the law so drastically, no tightening of the limits is going to change their behaviour.
