I cant find what ecu I hav anywhere. Someone please help.

Numberz are

50455-0110

A18-000

R23-99

Then got stamp in black in spear lil number's box 6222

whats it out of? or is that the main question? that you have an unknown ecu on your hands?

i bet its the first version STI ecu where an normal wrx ecu has been upgraded with the sti tuned chip. along with the rest of the car which started life as a wrx

from late v2, sti was built at the normal factory and had its own ecu.

Do suby ecu's need to be soketed like the nissan ecu's? or they got them factory? Its been chip'd at elite in chch according to sticker on it. Anyone know them?

only the v1/2 ecu's had provision for a normal DIL eprom chip. i've seen both socketed and un-socketed boards, possibly only the newer v2's, my 7K had an empty socket.

your elite chip, was it a single chip or a daughter board with 2 chips?

Daughter board with 2 chip's. They got lil white stick on stiker's with wrx #ce somthng can't remember numbers bt thnk was 32 after the ce. The soket on the ecu board looks like it got blacker and more untidy solider than the rest the board so pretty sure it's been soketed. Anyone got any info on elite? Wat they like? It's pretty dam good on gas. 10 buckz 60k round town kinda good. Nice driving though, mind you I am used to running a 25t skyline so anything's probally cheaper!
