King super lows on Bilsteins.....

currently running King lows on the billies...........wondered if any1 had run super lows on billies?.......

did they tend to bottom out over judder bars etc.......

wondered if with super lows the shafts still had enuff travel in them for day to day driving (and maybe a bit of track and hills!) without constantly bottoming out?

still got a bit of height there even with King lows.........could prolly lower it another 1.5 inches all round and still have inch or so clearance between wheel and guard

My Rs type R had 50mm or 55mm lowered Whiteline springs with BOGE shocks that had the shafts pro shortened to captive the spring.

It was ridiculously low. When I went up in rim size I had clearance issues at all four corners. Lowering alone will not yield any handling benefit; quite the opposite.

From memory King lowered springs were 40mm and the Super lows were 50mm? Look into whether they will remain captive in the strut.

sweet will do...........mmmm........would only do it if there were some handling gains. So lowering the centre of gravity a little more and throwing in a roll centre kit would still not give me some handling gains?

i had kyb shocks with king superlows, never rubbed and i had gtb rims also, and were captive

You might have to pull the bilsteins apart and trim the bottom of the bumpstops for super lows.
