so if im going to put alloy front arms in my rs, am I going to have to get new ball joints for the hubs to suit? or will my rs ones fit the alloy arms?

I believe u have to replace the bottom ball joint as well because the taper is different(from wot i have read on here so maybe true :) )

Ok, so next question, if im going to go into repco or bnt and order the balljoints, does anyone know the part number? (Part number would be better than just a model that has them as repco are farking hopeless at ordering based on the model only, as i found out when trying to order slotted 294mm rotors for my four pots, the dude told me i was full of it when i said i had them on a bc5 but i wanted 1998 wrx sti slotted front rotors, i told him i had the sti setup on my bc5 and he said if he ordered them they wouldnt fit and he didnt want them returned, told him to just order the bloody things, 2 days later he rings and said they ready to be picked up, the tosser had ordered bc5 rotors! Grrrr)

You wont need new ball joints you just need the cone adaptor that the alloy arms come with (they are just over $100 for the pair from subaru, cant remeber the part number off the top of my head tho).

You will however need to change the sway bar end links to something to suit the alloy arms.

You can also flip the rear mount for the a arm around 180* to give yourself more caster.
