If its V2-4 (the only ones i know anything about), The only thing that can trip a DCCD error is having the DCCD coil unplugged or broken or the thumbwheel unplugged or broken

yeah its mostly the plugs? because that other night it was ok then it flash again and then went ok, then its now flashing all the time.

this will only apply to bugeye+ models with auto-DCCD where the abs works together with the DCCD with G sensors etc.

your system is a LOT simpler - Dial position = diff setting.

90% sure its going to be the connection between the dccd brain and the diff. it looks for the resistance of the dccd coil at turn on

so it will either be a loose connection, worn wire, or a damaged coil (seems unlikely)

check the connections by the clutch fork, and the connections on the gearbox by the centre diff. the one going into the square top plate is for the DCCD coil

your diff will stay in open or 'free' mode while there is an error so its safe to drive around. you just wont be able to wind it up.

Yeah no auto mode in your DCCD so its dead simple. Theres only about 3 components that could break down. Thumb wheel, Coil, Relay....or even the DCCD controller unit.

I dont know where any of those parts are in the stock locations. Im pretty sure theres a fuse on the high current power wire to the DCCD controller - if that fuse blows, maybe youd get a code? Im not sure.

just been reading another forum... again our dccd is fully manual unlike the ver8 sti ones.

so chances are its the coil that died on it? will see about it later on.

but i would so love to drive this guy in a ver2 sti-ra dccd wrx

Well theres only 3 things to check. Grab a wiring diagram and check to make sure all of the grounds are correct, the thumb wheel is still hooked up and you get a closed circuit across the DCCD coil wires. If all of that passes, the problem must lie with the DCCD relay

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
