pretty certain the rear tophats are different though

yea rear top hats will need to be swaped

but fitting shocking and springs from a legacy to a wrx would make it higher

When I fitted front STI bilstiens to my 92 Legacy one of the studs on each top hat was about half a cm off fitting into the hole...so may need to swap all 4 top hats or maybe the case with certain shocks. It's easily fixed weather they fit or not by simply swapping the top hats as said above

You sure?? ive never heard of any subaru front shocks and hats not straight swaping

yeah I was told when I bought them off a guy that used to be on here (HRDWRX) that they'l fit in just not the back ones....Theyr the pink bilstiens the stud pattern was slightly larger than the RS one.

Hmm how slight are we talking? my adjustys (that a put in the front) out of a wrx were maybe 1mm to big offset but still fit in?

slighty enough for it not to fit in and me to start using certain words...probly half a cm out...so then out came the spring clamps

would you really want to do that?

some things like strut braces havn't fitted between wrx / legacy for me in the past, i now put it down to bent chassis etc, accident damage

just buy some new monroe shocks for your model. they are only $100~140 each and get some tophats from a wrecker
