Thunda (CS poster) had a genuine NZ new Gen 1 RS wagon for sale earlier this year. It was an Aussie market refugee from memory, but sold here new somehow with Legacy badging, not Liberty. IIRC, the LHD reccie wagon used by Possum Bourne was also originally an RS.

Nice, that certainly looks like an RS to me. Would they be using VF8's, or since they are NZ/AU new, VF12's or whatever it is we got?

At any rate, still no Gen 2 RS wagons, of that i am sure.

And yeah, the GT's and Impreza RS's in the states are 'hood'scooped 2.5 N/A's. First WRX was the bug eye, in 2002, first STi was a 2.5L Ver. 8 in 2004.

They didn't get any 3rd gen legacy turbo's, but, the baja, which was based off the BH chassis got an EJ255 turbo engine in the later years, i've seen a few people over there use baja's for turbo swapping their BE/BH's

In my experience

Every wagon I've owned has had a "GT" badge, every wagon i've owned that was manual has had a "GT 4WD" badge and the one NZ New Turbo Manual Wagon ive owned had a "Turbo 4WD" badge

Every Sedan i've owned has had an "RS" badge - I havnt owned an auto sedan

I've seen, and been in several BC GT's btw, all auto's etc.
