mm but if i pull the inner cable out (on gbox) how would i get it back in ??? gonna remove gbox cable again to try get pics this time. will post up in 5 10 mins

alright here are some pics that i took...may not be real clear as the lighting in me garage is real shit!!

above is the connection on the cluster...looks fine.

above is gbox connection. also looks fine

and above is the inner cable being pulled out but not fully out

mmm everything looks fine to me..so in the end im still confused on what the bloody problem is lol ???

the point being.. your cable might be split somewhere in the middle.. if you twist one end of the cable does the other end move..?

you can just push the cable back through the sleeve.

oh okay i get what u mean now....well i think i found the problem. i removed the 17mm bolt on the gbox and found the inner able has split! pic below

now to check the other end... now that i gota replace the inner cable.can i just buy an inner cable from winger or does it come as a whole??

well there you go - problem found.

be careful with that plastic nut assembly thing.. they crack real easy.

a trip to a wrecker would sort it

will ne one fit as long as its a cable driven dash? ie will a legacy one fit? might pop to the wreckers today ;D

yer and yer..

you will find that some the plastic nut assembly is orange.. they should just be same same.. take your broken one with you to confirm

alright...problem all solved!!! thank you to everyone who helped me out!!!

if anyone eneds up gettin a CEL33 in the future...give me a pm! i managed to get a spare gbox unit ;D dats if mine doesnt randomly shit itself again
