BG5 Fujitsubo Muffler - Fit B4 RSK???

Has anyone got one of these fitted...I don't want the car to noisy!

The reason I ask, is I went ahead and bought one...(i can hear you all laughing now). Someone else picked it up, so wasn't able to check before I bought it!!!

I can get mine cut and this one welded on, but don't want to go to all this hasstle if it's going to be to loud!!!

i had one on my BH but it was for a BH, was very nice i thought def not "loud" but a slight increased "rumble"

but will still come down to what else you have done to your exhaust

i have one of those 'oh so comon' fujitsubos on my BG5, I have a siamese DP (Single T conv done) stock mid section then the fuji, and i think its not loud enough, they dont seem to give a good bark, just a choking sounding rumble IMO... i.e. not crisp.

Get a new mid-section and it will open it up quite a bit more. There will still be a factory resonator (or two) in there.

hmm, i had a 94 BG TT and that had all after market twin turb downpipes and mid section with one of those fuji's mufflers, and i thought it still sounded dull and deep.

Dunno if TTs dont sound as good as a ST but the way mine sounds now is very similar to that TT... i.e. blaming the fuji muffler??

Infact... on my BH i have a siamese DP, sock mid section and if fitted a massive fuji muffler (nothing like the ones we speak of here) and it had a wicked bark and it was deep (till the missus said take it off lol) I still have that muffler and will fit it to my BG

Iv'e got one on my BH... but mine is oval, not the cannon, sounds awsome, not overly loud, but definitly can hear under acceleration and deceleration.. i have nothing else done to my exhaust at all.. i had a cannon, but was too droney at 100kph...

The Fuji muffler I have bought is bloody massive!! It has a full 3" inlet and just over a 4" outlet.... Also the muffler itself is about 1 1/2 times bigger than my current one.

I would like to be brave enough to try it.... But concerned about the noise and it's too late once I've cut the other one off!! Might just sell it on and get something more suitable......

its not to late - just unbolt from the rear diff, and get a small section made up with a new flange on that fuji muffler. that way you can revert to stock if you dont like it... any muffler shop can make it up.

it wont be that loud... at least try it first.

Wont it hang waay out if its taken off a BG5? 3'' in 4'' out is about normal. Ive got syms extractors, 2.5'' downpipes, 2.5'' mid pipe with 1 reso and a 3'' tail section and its not super loud. Just sounds like theres a lion living in exhaust when you hit the go pedal

mine has 3inch inlet and 4 inch out... not loud at all...
