Spring compression

So i have a mate who has an accord who has put aftermarket springs on, but its still a little high for his liking, so he wants to compress them further.

Any ideas? suggestions of places where it can be done in welly?

cuttin 'a' coil can be legit....

grab a blow torch heat a coil watch it compress old school low riders method works but hard to get it right all the way around

well y didnt the people at VTNZ say u need a cert for compressed springs?

that defonatly is 100x dodgier than cutting a coil off

heard a story, cant fully remember how he did it was a good few years ago now,

had the car up, all wheels off, was sitting on axel stands on the arms, they heated all the springs, then let the jacks down on the car, so the weight of the car then compressed the heated springs,

didnt think of it so well, spring ended up completly compressed so all the coils were touching, all four springs buggered.

that had to be the funnest spring compressing i have heard.
