Not to sure about the twin turbos bro, as my legacys a single bf5 But pretty sure they run a standard 14psi on secondary, personalty I wouldn't Touch The boost on yours as yur likley to run into trouble Leaning out/det etc

What mods Are you running? as If its completely standard I would be looking at changing exhaust right through 1st off even with that you would notice it, and someone correct me if im wrong but that would raise your boost somewhat neway..

Would anyone be able to tell me what the factory boost is on a 02 b4 and the maximun boost I can run on a factory engine set up?

i had my tt set up with my primary vf20 tapped right out as far as it would go boosting at 20psi with a zs controller....you do have one dont you? every tt should ;)

Boost is around 9.9bar/14.5psi stock. The engines have the same compression as the wrx engines (not sti) and as such can probably handle similar boost levels. Ive been told 16 psi is probably a safe figure.

I never realised you could use the zs sequestial controller as a boost contoller? I though it was just used to control the switch over point?

TBH if you are wanting to feck around with stuff like this go buy an WRX or fork out for single turbo conversion.

The twin turbos are meant to be a grand tourer and arent really designed for that sorta tinkering.

You will just piss yourself off with the complexity and the frequency of sh1t breaking.

hes right, but on the other hand the tt subarus were always guna be set on low psi from the start, turning the boost up a few psi wnt damage anything.you have to rember if your turning the boost up you have to have supporting mods.fuel pump upgrade ect.

you may benifit from other mods like intake, mayb a tt front mount kit,ecu upgrade,or single turbo conversion.

i think what funkytown is trying to say is with a big turbo you have to support it with big mods to the short block and drivetrain.......but with a moderate turbo upgrade like a TD05 or a vf22/23 you can go places for now on your standard long block.....then if you are feelin horny and have lots of muny then forged is the way to go for power over the 300kw/400hp range ;)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
