best alarm to get?

i wana invest in a new alarm.can anybody refur any good brands.or can any 1 get 1 done cheap.

Dynatron D7800 are all I've ever used (or is what the auto electricians at work get in).

So I could be a bit biased there.

A good alarm will not be cheap. A good 5 star alarm would be Dynatron, Mongoose, AVS. You can add GPS tracking on top of any of those if you wish, and then you can also chose to have that GPS monitored. Something like Blackhawk would be good for an expensive / show car, but probably wouldn't bother on a car worth less than 10k.

Get a 5 star Dynatron or AVS - my 2c.

I've had both - and both work fine. Can come with turbo timer chips too which are handy - integrated into the remote so you can turn it off remotely if it's 4am and you don't wonna fark the neighbours off haha

AVS is one of the best when comparing 5 star alarms...

Mongoose aint bad ( i gave you the dudes number) $360

OR lets go for a road trip to wellington and get your alarm done 8)

AVS is better I reakon though I have a mongoose 5star only cause I couldnt afford AVS,

Reason for likeing AVS is its got more add-ons than mongoose and theres a reason for price difference.

I really like the avs 5 star had the build in turbo timer aswell which was a bonus.

mongoose has a built in turbo timer too. Its just the fact that AVS has more added on features as stated above.

Think you'll find all the 'major' brands have a turbo timer chip available for the 'upper spec' alarms.

Yeah "chip available" if you want to spend another $70 on top of your alarm. Avs offer it inbuilt in there lower spec models.

got quite a good quote of spencer guy that did his.399 installed avs 5starr alarm.

i got $360 And get a invoice of him just incase anything goes wrong. Mines still pumping but you never know.

by the way.. how do i stop the car from blasting my ears off if i disconnected my battery? Tried removing battery the other day to do something and the farker wouldnt stop SCREAMING!!!
