V7 STi pulls significantly to the left under heavy braking

Subject says it all really... when braking heavily at highway speeds the car pulls very, very much to the left. ABS not kicking in. Under light-moderate braking it doesn't at all except sometimes when coming to a complete halt it will do a little shudder to the left.

Znoelli slotted+drilled rotors, Brembo pads, dunno how worn. I think they were relatively new when I got the car ~15000km ago. Brakes have been flushed and bled ~5000km ago.

Any ideas?

uneven braking surface... you night want to rebleed your brakes unless one of your seals is stuffed... its about $700 to get it reseal that is just for the part... there was someone in here selling the reseal kits for half that price here

ID say its a stuck piston or slider as said above . . A way I guess of checking is to have the wheel off the ground . Have some one standing on the brakes and see if you can turn the wheel with a power bar . . .

I'm getting it serviced next week so I'll get it checked out then. It recently got suspension changed so I have to wonder if it's a pinched/kinked brake line but I'm fairly sure it used to do it before they went in.

It just happened at a very unfortunate time... overtaking a wonderful highway-80-passing-lane-115'er when the police officer hiding in the bushes at the end of the passing lane turned his radar on.

I owe the guys at Beltronics a beer.

I'd be looking at the control arm bushes for movement & leakage if it's those liquid filled ones? it may be the wheel moving back with the heavy braking,

but then those were the first of the ones out with brembo's i think? so may also be the conditions it's been in & how they've been maintained & treated. could be caliper piston, dust boot damage, have you looked around for fluid leaks or posibly even cv grease,

maybe easier just to have it checked out if you're really unsure :)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
