The Production List.

Recommended Posts

Hello to you all,

Just sitting here wondering all things cars, as we do.. I was trying to find out what sort of number of each model have been produced each year and how many were or are registered in NZ.

Is there any way of finding out what is out there?? I have a 2003 WRX STi Spec C LTD, and was told that it is one of only 500 made, but it's real hard to find any real proof of that claim on the net?

Could be quite a cool section on this site, to see roughly how many of each model/Version is on the road?

Cheers,

Troy

Info is out there, just need to search.

Check 22b forum and Type Ra forum, both UK based.

Cheers BT,

Would be cool to have a list of this sort of info on Clubsub. You reckon?

Also, You'd be the man to ask, I want to no the correct offset for the Spec C, Looking at getting some CE28N's or TE37's but have no idea on the max width I can go or offset I need? I have a lot to learn about this new toy...

Your help would be much appreciated.

Troy.

Yea that's what I thought, I reckon it would be a cool addition to this site, A dedicated page to model numbers and production numbers, amounts made, registered in NZ etc??

Anyway, food for thought, Cheers!

Stock offset for Spec C is +53. Good luck finding an aftermarket wheel 5x100 with that offset that clears the Brembos. Rays have charts on their website which indicate which offsets in which model will clear the STi Brembos.

Not sure, but I'm assuming that sold-to-public Spec C numbers reflect the homologation requirements put out by the FIA for that year.

Thanks for that Simon,

Will check out the charts on the Rays site.

Kind of lost me with the sold to public/homologation bit, not yet very familiar with these terms.

But thanks all the same!

Homologation means a manufacturer must build a minimum number of road cars before they can use that model in rallying.

;) Shot, thanks for that... I knew this forum would be a good place to learn....

So I should be able to look up FIA Homologation stats for the year the car was built and work out how many were made for public sale then yea?

Cheer dude, I actually nearly brought that set a couple of months back, but wasn't confident they would fit, and sort of ran out of time. I will contact him, see if they are still for sale, thanks for the info!!

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
