Bigger injectors for dyno tune?

So car is getting tuned tomorrow was thinking if it's worth putting the bigger injectors (650cc) in or just leave to pink STI ones in?

what churbro san?

550's wont get maxed on a vf. but then it wont hurt to run the 650's if you have them.. Regardless of what happens you will require more tune work when you swap churbros.

i think STM would request you stay on the 550's so it costs them less configuring it for the 650's - imo

Yeah was thinking about putting in the RX6 turbo in later on and get a touch up tune afterward trying to save time later on

WTF.. churbro? Some weird word filter?

When you first bring it in, they will go over with you what exact mods have been done so they know what they are dealing with right away. Also what gas you intend to use so it's tuned to the right octane levels.

Bigger isn't always better though, but it will give you more overhead for future mods. Maybe wait until you put the other turbo in, I'm sure the pinks will be just fine with the turbo you have in there now.

yeah there won't be any positive gains from changing the injectors really, although the spray pattern might be slightly nicer but negligble i imagine. if you're using an old link, it probably won't run as nice with larger injectors in general putting around rev ranges

its a v8 motor getting a reflash so doesnt really count.

changing injectors in reflash of stock ecu is fairly easy - change the injector scale multiple and thats it really

the ecu figures the dc based on multiple and requested afr..

anyway- why not bigger man..

if u using external boost controller then changing the turbo later u wont have much of a hassle for the retune..

Id change them with my pinks on the vf37 it was right on the tip of what they could do, new owner has since upgraded them but left same tubro on to give a bit more safety as hes using motorsport etc.

If you got some biggers chuck them in imo.

Yeah might as well it will be easier for them when I do a retune and probably cheaper? I was thinking about the duty cycles and spray patterns. Soo lower DC is better then higher one which close faster?

Just so u know it's a Sard Injectors not decaps

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
