sti coupe seats in a 89 RS BC5

hey guys. i got 1989 BC5 RS. im thinking of getting a set of nice black wrx seats for the back.

these in particular. anyone know if these would fit in my car and planning on getting a set of version 5/6 seats in the near future which i know will fit. just want to complete the look somewhat

fits 100% including the rails. you might want to use your original seat belt buckles

the front seats will fit 100%

I dont think the rears will fit as the coupe would be different to even other wrx let alone a B.C.

Im not sure so if someone would correct me if Im wrong.

that too fits but not 100% the bottom seat is a little too long but u still can manage to close the door. LNEMUP done this mod to his BC5

my back seats out of a coupe.. fits fine.. and the doors close too.. my front seats are out of a v4 sti.. black,red and grey...

they look quite good have you done the facelift interior conversion? im looking at doing this but im finding it rather difficult to find a nice interior :-\ did you have much trouble putting it in?

yea got it all from good ol pick a part.. the plastics were a bit expensive.. cost more for plastic trims than it does for a dam bonnet!!! took a bit of hunting to find sum mint ones as the monkeys who show up at pick a part with a screw driver and a house hammer tend to wreck everything then throw it on the ground hahaha.. the door trims i got the fabric re-done to match the seats and the floor mats come out of a later model gtb.. the dash was the only real tricky bit but gives u a reason to pull out all the rubbish u dont need behind it... air-con radiator etc..

Oh well we learn something new everyday and that's at least 1 for today. lol

I just assumed the coupe would be heaps shorter From b pillar back.

Isn't that 1 of the differences between sedans and coupes?

or is it more like a sedan with the rear doors deleted ?

the front left seats got longer top rail so it can slide more forward.. thats about it

The coupe is more like the sedan chassis with the b-pillar moved backwards 300mm. The front doors are longer to suit. AFAIK the wheelbase is the same between coupe and sedan Impreza's.
