tdo4 vs tdo5, so your saying a tdo4 is ok for a stock engine and spools pretty well compared too the vf8 ? but a td05 has more high end power and is more capable of higher hp with the right support mods but without them spools slower....

hard decision cos a tdo4 sounds like a cheap and fast upgrade with better boost response while the td05 with the right mods (which costs extra) will be better in the long run for getting more go ?....

i had a long day at work nothings really processing... lol

yea thats correct.... well td05 is just bigger. at least in stock form. don't think you need much more than a stock block an heads to run a td05 but only at a lower psi. where as a td04 will give a more useable horse power an won't require major mods or push your engine more than it can handle...

in other words run the turbo best suited to the block not what will give you more power.

go td05 i reckon,spools slowr but when you get used to it i guarantee you td04 will just be a joke turbo

id get both an just see how the engine handles them...I've seen td04 for like 100$ an td05 less than 200 so they're good to have as spares anyway

go td05...td04 is a pre schoolers turbo

td05 on grey injectors is fine up to 14psi..

ver 2 wrxs came factory with td05 green afm and grey injectors and mine with boost solenoid conected was 14psi with a 3 inch exhaust....

theyre a very good turbo pull strong as !!

ok change of heart, im going tdo5 now just gotta find a decent one, theres one on tm for 200 ill look up on that. IF ANYONE HAS OR IS SELLING A TD05 FOR CHEAP THEN PM ME
