Forester thoughts

hey fellow clubsub members! tomorrow i'm going to veiw a subaru forester 1997 stb, has anybody owned one of these? also thoughts on them would be greatly appreciated cheers!

i have a foz (see the banner at top of page) i love my foz, although i have done a bit of work to it (mods)

depends what you want the car for?

cheap run around = no

going mountainbiking\skiing\rock climing = yes

racing around corners = no (in stock form)

i own a foz, damn fun car. very stealth, well, ish. lots of potential, lots of cheap mods to do to make them handle WAY better.

she does look a little rough, nothing a bit of love and attention wont fix. sharp price too.

i love my foz for the boot space, comfort, its not too bad on gas, and its not just another impreza... yet still goes just as well

I got 1 and love it to bits, was first a family car and awsome on long trips and going to the beach but now my project cause family got bigger and got a 7 seater.Very quick for a SUV but yea no good around town on gas but awsome on long trips and no dramas climbing hills

thanks guys i went and had a look today and it looks like it had been in a crash bogged all up the LH front pillar so i think i'll give it a miss lol, if anyone knows of any Subys around the south for around 3k let me know!
