From one muppet to another will these struts out of a gf8 fit in a bg5 wagon???

hey yeah they will, youll just need to use your tophats and springs..

if i can fit GC8 tophats and springs in my BF5 you can get these in your BG5.

so gc8 shocks fit into bg5?,

will anything else fit into bg5? even if its just top hats need swapped over?

im not convinced re: swapping tophats... but if you use your current tophats and springs on the new struts then there should be no problems.. ( i believe you will need spring compressors and a rattle gun , maybe a suspension place can swap them for you )

as for the strut itself youll have to check if youll need to bleed the brakes after disconnecting the hose due to there being no slot to unhook the brake hose from the strut

( some have a open clip that you remove and detach the hose and some you have to unbolt the hose from the calliper to remove it through the bracket.)

swap top hats and yes it will fit 100%

and they are v7 sti type shocks from the look of the strut width..

will be rock hard lol

also just make sure it doesnt knock after fitting - well get the guy to garuntee it somehow cos the rears in the gdb are known knockers

cool thanks guys this was for a muppet at work who was given wrong advice by another muppet,

Change the top hats on BG5 front shocks and throw them in the rear... 5" Drop wound all the way up...
