iPod / iPhone integration with McIntosh HU

hey guys.

i want to keep my McIntosh H/U because the sound is just that good but i want to be able to use my iphone

with it.

i have seen these anycar-link jobbies on TradeMe but dont know if anyone has actually used one.

So, has anyone used one?? if so, anyone used the bluetooth version?

If you like the sound of your McIntosh (and they do sound good for a factory HU), you won't want to hook up an i-anything for music playback.

Got the Anycar for McIntosh with iPod and bluetooth.

I did the install myself - tricky part was getting the surround off the gear selector.

It's plug and play and works really well, keeps the iPod charged - can still use the steering wheel controls (last/next track and volume).

Doesn't have song info on screen, but doesn't bother me.

This is an easy cheap fix

No hassles pairing with my HTC phone via bluetooth. Fantastic using the car speakers for a call and no prob with supplied mic. Automatic mute of iPod on incoming or ending a call.
