going into limp mod under full boost

When i put my foot down and really go for it in my car gets up to about 140km/hr and then its like its hit the speedo limiter and the car dies and theres a big jolt of the car today i manged to take it out of gear but when i change down to 4th i can boost past so i'm just wondering if anyone has encountered this issue?

I've checked the engine codes and nothings comes up its done it before my fuel rail mod as i was hoping it might fix itself when these mods were carried out.

Boost cut. Well, if it does it in higher gears and not lower gears. My old car would do it when it was cold; overboost like .2 past the ecu's limit

has it only started to happed ?

maybe reduce the boost a bit on the evc

any cracked /lose hoses?

its done it for a while but it only does it under full boost in 3rd when it hits around 140km/hr but if your in 4th it doesn't do it.

its always only ever run 14.7psi

I shall have a play with the evc tonight and see if i can calibrate it in case its reset itself when the battery was off when it was being repaired ???

So in 3rd it will cut but in 4th it won't? Have u tested 3rd and 4th at same rpm tho?

Usually cuts are more frequent on the upper gears

Do the sMe run on 4th and see I cuts at abt the same rpm as 3rd did

Hopefully the recaliberate does it but from what I read the Hks evc does not forget settings even after a long power cut
