Left rear passenger door issues ?

Dunno why but all of a sudden the above mentioned door won't close quite right. Doesn't sound right when it shuts and almost seems to be springing back from the latch and not closing fully. Hard to explain. It closes and locks when i use remote locking but the open door diagram shows up on the dash. Could it be the latch is munted or could it possibly be an alignment issue?

my mrs drivers door got caught in very strong winds and swung right open with some force.. bent the hinges and now sometimes it doesnt shut properly. Id imagine an alignment issue

Had a proper play with it this morning and discovered the catch that the door latches onto was loose so i tightened the screws and then played with it to get it closing right. all sorted now.

Haha mine is doing the same thing. I have to really shut it hard to stop hitting a bump and have the inside light come on and door indicator light activate. Scary as hell on a dark gravel road when it happens.

Mine is the same door too.

Tighten the screws and close the door, may need to repeat procedure a few times to get adjustment right. Kinda like adjusting kitchen door hinges :-\
