I've rung coastal fasteners in town, $140+gst and comes with 40pc, and goes up to M8.

Likely the one i'll be getting.

neither did i till i found a shred special on my car 2 days ago, i've been describing this type of thing for ages as something i wanted - NOOOO one knew what i was talking about, the term is RIVNUT ;D

Coastal fastners in porirua lent me theirs for the weekend when i bought 8 rivnuts. i use them to hold my sub boxes in my van

yup I have one of these wonderful tools actually thinking of going to the bigger unit that goes thru to 10mm

I rivnut everything

be careful buying a "cheap" version though as if the mandrel breaks of in the rivnut it can be a pain to extract
