ALLOY RADIATOR QUESTION...

Hi all,

has anyone out there purchased an alloy radiator from redline performance?

- im tossing up btween buying from redline or silverdale radiators - redline is much cheaper than silverdale but i am worried about the quality of the redline one!

can anyone out there share there experience/expertise?

speak to pelvin think he got one and it wasn't a straight bolt on affair think it might be wiser to spend a hundred or 2 more and go with fenix or something of that calibre

we use silverdale and adrad havent ever had any problems. most of redlines performance products come from mgp in china look them up. A1 radiators will probably be a bit dearer. sta in airport oaks have them too.

alot of people have had drama with cheap alloy radiators, not fitting correctly and crap welds so they leak prematurely. Also I read that some people have used cheap ones on the track and they dont cool as good as factory ones. So do your research and dont just get the cheapest.

If it were me Id buy misimoto or koyorad

I dont remember having any issues with mine on the black GF8. Will need slim fans. However do expect it to start leaking from the top tank within a year (after warantee has expired)

i got a fenix 1 and found the top hose and small bleed off hose sit real close together made it real hard to put them both on with clamps

- i asked a similar question on fb and have had the total opposite response hahaha, everyones told me there that theyve had no issues love theres etc and that it fitted str8 in without slim fans etc etc :-)

as u can see it wasnt going to work, nzkw 1, that was with the rubber mounts on the bottom that hold it in place
