Grilles/bonnets

I have a 97 wrx fitted with the earlier bonnet and grille (bought like it) and the bug catcher air intake dosen't line up with the intercooler. So I have bought a 99 alloy bonnet to rectify this, but which grille should I / can I use that will fit correctly not to worried about looks but fitment. I understand there maybe two after the early one (early one being with the bar across centre) before bug eye. ???

Any grill from v3-6 wrx(v3/4 grills are generally cheaper and easier to get the the v5/6 grills) will do the job nicely, you will also need to locate a set of v3-6 headlights also as the grill wont fit with the existing headlights.

There are 3 grills before the bugeye, ur exising one with the bar in the middle. Thats a v1/2 grill, then there is the new shape one which is v3/4, and the v5/6 which IMO is the best has honeycomb mesh backing and it sits out further onto the front bumper.

hmmmm.

i have a v5/6 grille, lights, spoiler, and spot light covers ready to be painted/fitted.

Slowly accumulated these but looking for a bonnet. If anyone has one v3/4 or preferably 5/6 pm me. It will put a couple of hundy to that carbon one you want yo!
